Oh, hey there!
I am Claire, a fourth-year student at the University of Technology Sydney, majoring in Media Arts and Production with a minor in Strategic Communication. I am currently interning at NBCUniversal where I support the Creative International Networks team with all things promos and content shoots.
A Bit About Me, cont'd...
I have been interning at NBCUniversal since March 2024, where I ideate and create linear + social promos for audiences across the Asia-Pacific region. In this position, I also play an active role in contributing to the creation of local bespoke content as a production assistant on smaller-scale shoots, and collaborate with other producers to brainstorm interview questions for red-carpets and junkets. Most recently, I was selected as a top 3 nominee for the 2025 GEMA Rocket Award, which recognises my work as a producer at NBCUniversal, with less than 2 years of professional experience.
My university course has provided me experience in collaborating with a production crew on set, while using industry standard equipment and technologies to shoot and edit short documentaries and films. I have practice in pre- production (scriptwriting, producing), production and post- production (editing and sound design). Within my minor of Strategic Communication, I have generated strategic communication campaigns for clients.
In 2024, I completed my Capstone Project, where I was the Sound Recordist and Editor for the short horror comedy film 'Damo's Intervention.'
I have been absolutely loving my learning journey and opportunities thus far in the media industry and cannot wait to see what the future holds!
